Messen annual community event - 3 weeks away

So soon, 9 - 11 November. Some surprisingly good games in store. We've played a few since Spiel, recommend Unconscious Mind, Gibberers, Civolution, and Saltfjord at the moment. There are many more that have not been tried yet, excited to see them in action.

Tickets sales closing @ 8am PST on 8 November

Heads up... tickets for the Messen annual community event will not be sold at the door. You need to go online to get tickets, see link below.

Online ticket sales will close at 8am (U.S. Pacific Time) on 8 November 2024. Please reserve your ticket now.

Also, thank you for reaching out to bring the people to the community event to connect over meeples. We had a significant increase in attendees. Still more tickets available.

Community events in October

You don't have to wait until 9 November or have a ticket. Already held three smaller community events this October. There will likely be one or two more. Go to the Messen Discord server, Shall We Play a Game channel, to find out when these are happening. Or set up your own event!

Shipping, shipping always happens

Spiel largely went well this year, excepting a bout of Covid and shipping the games back home. Everyone survived though 40% of the games fell into the U.S. Customs vortex. Working to get those out of customs. If anyone speaks U.S. Import as a secondary language, that would be very useful. Please reach out. I rolled a "1" like Ash in Evil Dead II when trying to utter the words of summoning.

Lower rate at hotel

If you are staying or are planning on staying at the hotel the annual event is hosted in... I was quoted a rate of $130 for a King & $140 for a room with two queens + tax. Mention to the hotel that you are staying for Messen when making a reservation.

As a side note, there is lots of parking at the hotel.
